Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Arts de Musique Studio Management System. By accessing or using the System, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Introduction
Welcome to Arts de Musique Studio ("ADM Studio", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the ADM Studio Management System (the "System"), including all features and services offered through it.
Arts de Musique Studio is a music education institution operating in the Philippines, subject to applicable Philippine laws and regulations, including Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012).
By accessing or using the System, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the System.
Definitions
- System — The ADM Studio Management System, including all web-based interfaces, databases, and related services.
- User — Any individual with a granted account, including Administrators, Teachers, and Students.
- Administrator — A User with the 'admin' role who manages overall system operations.
- Teacher — A User with the 'teacher' role whose lessons, schedule, and payroll are managed in the System.
- Student — A User with the 'student' role whose enrollment, attendance, and progress are tracked.
- Booking — A request submitted by a prospective student or guardian to schedule a trial or regular lesson.
- Lesson — A scheduled instruction session between a Teacher and a Student for a specific subject.
User Accounts & Roles
Accounts are created exclusively by Administrators. Each account is assigned one of three roles:
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. The System implements account lockout after repeated failed login attempts. Account recovery is available via a One-Time Password (OTP) process. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Account Deactivation
Administrators may deactivate user accounts at any time. Deactivated accounts lose system access, but data may be retained for administrative and legal purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
Use of the System
Permitted Use
The System is provided exclusively for the internal management of ADM Studio's operations — scheduling lessons, managing enrollments, tracking attendance, and processing payroll. Users may only access the System for their designated role-based purposes.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the System or its underlying infrastructure
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any System component
- Use automated tools to access the System without express written authorization
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code into the System
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data
- Use the System for any unlawful purpose under Philippine law
- Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to any third party
Lessons, Scheduling & Bookings
Booking Process
Prospective students or their parents/guardians may submit a booking request by providing their name, contact details, preferred subject, date, time, and an optional message. All bookings are subject to Administrator review. ADM Studio reserves the right to accept or reject any booking at its sole discretion.
Lesson Types
The System supports two lesson types:
Lesson Statuses
Attendance & Forfeiture
Attendance is recorded per lesson. A forfeited lesson refers to one that cannot be rescheduled or compensated due to late cancellation or no-show. ADM Studio's specific forfeiture policy will be communicated upon enrollment.
Rescheduling & Cancellation
Lessons may be rescheduled or cancelled by an Administrator or Teacher. Students must notify ADM Studio within the notice period specified in their enrollment agreement.
Teacher Obligations
Teachers using the System agree to maintain accurate records of lessons conducted, cooperate with attendance marking processes, and promptly notify ADM Studio of any scheduling conflicts.
Teacher compensation is calculated based on hourly rates and lesson records stored in the System. Teachers agree that payroll calculations derived from System records shall be the authoritative basis for compensation, absent manifest error.
Intellectual Property
All content, software, branding, and materials associated with the System and ADM Studio are the exclusive intellectual property of Arts de Musique Studio or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the System solely for its intended purpose.
No rights are granted to reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any System content or materials.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The System is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ADM Studio makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the System's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, ADM Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the System.
Modifications to Terms
ADM Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting of the updated Terms. Continued use of the System after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the Philippines.
